Pentax Shutter Count...up!!!!

Bought K-x new in October 2010... as of today, only 4803 shots. I need to get working on that!

(On second thought, that does average about 40 shots a day... is that on par for a dedicated hobbyist?)

K-5, new purchase on december-19 2010 and is now at 9863 on shuttercount.

well not that lucky actually..

because people in my country tend to see everything from its exterior. then i decide to duct tape all the camera from the very beginning i use it.. when i try to sell it i open the duct tape and voila the exterior is free from scratches .. so the buyer willing to buy it at 'reasonable' price heheheh

K-x, new purchase on May 2010 and is now at 45,304 (can not believe the number) on shutter count. Went through Pentax Service once. Did they accelerate the shutter count :>

My K10d's shutter dead for about 75,000.

K10(s) about 60-80K/ec (Used for remote/rental cameras only now)
K20 70K+ (Backup/trunk-camera)
K7 almost 90K (Main 2)
K5 over 30K (Main camera)
(I do this for a living BTW)
