Can't open the back for the film???What Gives?

I think that your cameras about to pack it in Ben, you'd better ask Pentax for a new one, and send me this OLD one

I'll be nice enough to take it off your hands for free
Would you do that for me? That is really benevolent of you...I'll even pay or the shipment if that is alright with you?

Where can I send them. I say them 'cause "5" was the total photos taken on the three bodies. There was "1" on one and "2" photos taken on the other two bodies. I hope they still work though....

I thought digital cameras' were good for only one photo and you change them. There is a problem however. I tried to open the back to put the film in to the camera and couldn't figure out how to open it. I pulled the screen off and jammed the roll of 36 exposures in to the space available and now none of the cameras' work. What gives? Will a firmware update fix this. Does the film have to stay in the camera forever? This is just all too complicated for me. I never had these problems with my disposable Fuji cardboard cameras'!!!

Ben

I drove home between two big storms yesterday from Lethbridge - 180 km East. On Saturday it was white out conditions all the way. I stayed over. Yesterday, in windy stretches the roads were covered in tire packed slush. I reported one car off the road to the RCMP. No one hurt, and the motor club was coming to fish them out when the police checked them.

To put it back on topic, sort of, my shutter count is up a few posts.

K100D, bought from Beach Camera in January 07, best guess is 2506 actuations (it's likely a few more, that's the filename of the last photo and it sounds about right)
