Bringing out the A110 in digital

Would love to have a digital A110 sized slr to take the original film lenses. Some people are working on this at home. They started off with a digital Fuji zoom P&S. Even if it works it wouldn't be easy to do. Then I saw a possible solution.
Pentax should contract with Minox to build it. Saw a pic of the Minox "Leica M3". That is about the size of the 110. It also had a fixed lens. This should be much easier to work with than the zoom camera. The Minox isn't a dslr but could probably be made as an evil. If it sold for anything near the price of the Minox M3 ( less than $300) it would be mine! If Minox isn't interested, maybe some one could modify the Minox.
Wishful thinking.
thanks
