450 dollar K-5

I currently own a K-30 and would like to purchase a secondary body.
They K-3 is out off my budget after acquiring lenses lately.
I have an option to purchase an immaculate K-5 with less than 2000 shutter activations.
My other options would be another K-30 or a K-50.
What would you do?

K-30 or k-50

Atm I have a K-30 and a K-3. It's not ideal as the layout is different and different batteries. If you are happy with the performance of your K-30 I would try to get another K-30 or K-50 as it will help a lot when having two identical or almost identical bodies.
In my dream I can afford another K-3 but that's not likely.
For my next holiday trip I am considering asking my dad to borrow his K-01 to bring as back-up body for my K-3. Just because they use the same batteries.

Just my thoughts to your question.
Cheers
Josef

That K-5 for $450 is a good deal and for a replacement to the K-30 it would work great. For a second body, however, the compatibility of batteries and other accessories becomes an issue so the K-50 might work out better for you.

I'm not too concerned with battery compatibility etc.
That red K-50 for 499 dollars Canadian is tempting, but the K-5 reviews, even now, are excellent.
Thanks for your replies so far.

If it's just 499 Canadian dollars for a K-50 I would just buy one
New camera with warranty and model you are familiar with.

I think $450 isn't that uncommon of a price for a K-5 on the used market. It'll definitely be enough camera to last you before your next major upgrade.
