Pentax lens all-in-one with moderate zoom

Roscot, thanks for your review of the Pentax 28-105 3.2-4.5
Can you offer any advice about the Pentax 28-105 4-5.6. I'm wondering if its in the same league as the 3.2. Problem is I can't find a new 3.2 but can easily get the 4-5.6 (silver and black) lens for $189. Would this be worthwhile or would I be better served by waiting for 3.2 to come back in stock (god knows when). Freddy

Hey, thanks, guys. Your input really led me to a decision. I ordered the Pentax 28-105 SMC P 3.2-4.5 yesterday and I can't wait to get my hands on it.
Alan, loved your pics. Great quality at 105 mm and a natural unsaturated quality to shots taken with the 28-105. I'll be referring to your site frequently.
Love this Pentax forum! I'll post some pics when I get the lens on my K100D.
