Is there any sort of guide for the used K-mount market? Plenty of info is available about the Pentax-branded lenses, but what about third-party lenses? Which ones fit properly, which ones get stuck, which ones are a great deal, which ones should be avoided at all costs, which ones are notorious for this or that, etc.

that is the purpose of of the third party data base.

it is a good reference, and where I know of a lens with interference problems (eg the shield around the apature lever hitting the camera body internally, I have noted this in the review)

Ideally, all those who post comments etc about third party lenses should write a review about the specific lens. That ios what the database is there for.
