Pentax k110d Read/Write Delay?

I hope this makes sense...

I have a k110d. Recently, I've noticed the orange light in the back constantly working. It is very apparent especially when I'm reviewing photos on the camera itself in playback mode. If I try to snap a few pics in a quick burst it delays then too.

I use eneloop batteries. I verified they were charged. Then I tried with another set of nimh rechargables. Then I tried with some energizers. I also formatted the card, which I tend to do with each "dump" to the pc.

I'm looking around for my spare 1gb SD card, thinking there may just be a problem with the card itself. Anyone else experience this? Any other ideas?

My K110D only flashes the light when data is read or written. This includes:
• xfer pics to computer
• photo playback, it lights up just for a second while the photo loads then it turns off
• photo capture
• formatting operations

It sounds like something is acting up in your camera. Test a different SD card before starting to worry.
