It's craigslist - hard to be scammed when you're handing the person cash and trying out the product as you stand there!

If I were local there and I didn't have a K20D yet, I'd be hitting the cash machine and jumping in the car!

If you're going to meet make sure it's a busy mall/location with survelliance cameras and bring a couple of friends.

Sometimes these meets are to bait you for robbery as they know how much you'll have with you. If they make any sort of excuses not to meet with your preferences, drop it.

In "Digital Photo Pro" (May/June), Broadway Photo advertises the K20D for $589.99 (page 134), but on their website, it is shown at $903.00.Maybe, if somebody has enough guts, they could "wrestle" with the staff to get it at the magazine advertised price (of course, you'd need to bring a copy of the magazine to make your point). Just a thought...

This was a legit sale. I know the person who bought it from another forum. They are now one very happy K20D owner.

Broadway Photo (scary on ResellerRatings) may have two versions
at two prices. The low one may be a non-USA body, ie: grey market.
Just a guess on my part.
