It appears that ePhotoZine is having an ask Pentax a question - and they will get back to you in about a month.... I am guessing that its Pentax - I have no idea if its Pentax USA or Pentax Canada or the mothership Pentax Japan, or ????

Why isn´t there a fast f/2 or faster 35mm equivalent (24mm or so for APS-C) lens. DA21 is really nice but...

Why not have an ask Pentax day right here on the Pentax Forum? I guess it is too much to expect for Ricoh to respond to us directly.

Will you rebrand the Tamron 150-600, add WR, and finally give us a long zoom? We already know you rebranded the 18-270.

You initially showed the 645Z and the ultra-wide zoom lens under glass. The zoom lens had tape covering the focal length, so I'm assuming that it wasn't a working mockup. I got really excited about the idea of an ultra-wide zoom but since then there hasn't been a word. Is the lens in the works or has the idea been scrapped? A projected release date/year would be nice. And hopefully it'll be wider than the current 25mm.

They tried that twice - under Ned - and the reception was rather . . . . . heated. John Carlson is a member (JCPentax).

I'd be surprised if they would do it again in open session, but James Malcolm did do that series of user interviews (many PF members included) including a special 90 minute session with 10 PF members who are all Q Users.
