resetting settings

Hey all...looking for a short response from someone on how to reset the settings to the factory default. Have had some strange things happen in the last week and I heard you can do this.

I did a search but did come across any instructions.

Thanks a bunch.

Sarcasm right? When posting it's best to let us all know what camera you're using, otherwise we look but don't respond due to missing key elements.
Glad you've resolved your challenge.

Also going to Pentax's website you would have been able to find the manual pretty quickly:

Gosh, I love newbies who don't have time for searching.

Don't have time? You posted that fifty-nine minutes after your initial post (which didn't have enough information). I apologize that there are not experts patrolling this board every second to jump on every question that gets asked.

Forums, in general, are a great place to find help, but they are far from instantaneous. Actually, I find the crazy high-traffic forums to be much less useful, because your post is gone from the front page almost as soon as it is posted.

Wow - post for help without saying which model you need help on, and an hour later come back and complain because no one helped?

Thats not good seafood. Nobody hangs all Pentax models around their neck to check and provide an instantaneous answer. Also there is no distinction made here on newbie or a professional.

Cheers
