10,000 Clicks!

Posted this at DPR too

Almost exactly 11 months in - flipped 10,000 yesterday (Jan 27) on my DL. Can't post the picture - its of some kids I'd rather not post up..

But I was surprised that there is no 0000 picture - goes from 9999 to 0001 - kind of a bummer, I wanted a 0000 pic

Never thought I'd shoot so many pictures (many of them garbage of course, some gems...) - but I'm learning, and I think my shots this year will be better than last - I'm certainly paying attention to settings much more now than I was - working more in modes outside of P (although thats still my primary mode). Will be very interesting to see what the next 10,000 pics bring...

OT: reminds me of Marvin the Paranoid Android - "The first ten million years were the worst, and the second ten million years, they were the worst too. The third ten million I didn't enjoy at all. After that I went into a bit of a decline."

Wow 10,000 thats a whole bunch. I bet your glad it's not film for it would have broke you. Well good luck with the next 10,000 and they will slowly get better I know mine are.

That's a pretty cool milestone - 10,000 shots in a year. Hopefully I'll get that much use out of my camera this year.

I'd better get to work. . .

Congrats on your milestone ccallana! hey, since you can't post 10000, can you post 9999 or 10001?

Brian, if you sold the shots you posted up recently, you might be able to buy another camera before you hit that magic marker

Ok - We were at the Fish Hatchery near by - my kid (4 years old) took his plastic cup we were using to hold fish food, after it was empty, and dipped it in the water, caught a fish! Then I saw the sign - Keep Hands Out of Water. #9998
