I have seen moire on just about every camera I have worked with commercially in the past 6 years. The only cameras that do not suffer from colour moire issues are the Phase one Achromatic+ and the Leica monochrom.

Lightroom Moire removal tool does a decent job - but for stubborn Moire I use Raw therapee with its remarkable AMaZE demosaic - which can reduce the appearance of moire by 20~50%

Moire with K5 IIs: Another pilot report

Weddings are likely another world entirely, what with taffeta and veils and such. I do quite a bit of photography for my wife's online quilt biz, and have never noticed a problem with my IIs, regardless of fabric (and she uses a bunch of different ones).

Just one data point, of course. But hopefully an encouraging one.

The closest thing I've ever seen to it is this, but the fabric on the border actually has a moire pattern built into it, so I don't think the sensor is contributing anything!

i see moire once in awhile when shooting city skylines, it appears in the pattern of the skyscrapers due to lines and rows of windows. Aside from that, I have to really look to see issues with moire.
