Composition Adjustment/Sensor Shift...are you using it?

you bet, and I will try to get out this week to shoot more examples. Pentax has been offering innovative technology for years - this shifting sensor is a key differentiator from the competition as it is the basis for shake reduction, anti-aliasing/moire filter, lens shifting, astrotracer, and auto dust removal. If enough people knew how unique these features are vs the competition, Pentax would position itself as a leader in tech innovation.

While I haven't used it on a real (non test) image yet, I fully expect that I will occasionally make use of this feature.

Thank you, I didn't find it on first attempt, but I was in the wrong place. Yes, I confirm, it is available on k-50 too.

Hugin is good.
I don't use it anymore, however, since PS CC 2014 does great stitching.

Here is another example using the composition adjust/sensor shift feature (K5 & Sigma 10-20).
I used a free GIF maker, so hopefully you are able to view the animation...

My camera was ~1ft from the ground and aiming upward, so complete correction of the converging verticals could not be achieved. Nevertheless, you should be able to see an improvement using the sensor shift to raise the sensor +24 and then reduce the camera tilt to match the original composition. I used the center of the image as my stationary target.
There has been NO software correction of the perspective, this is an in-camera adjustment.

I will give this a try, I had a different concept of the feature. This looks like a great under utilized feature.
