There is one, and it has been around for a few years. You just did not look hard enough. K20D User group - PentaxForums.com

That's a group though, not a "Club" thread. I think if there's such threads for other cameras, the K20D can have one too.

Here's a recent one...

Glad I found this . First those are really good pics. Don't know the lens. But I would guess its the K20D, my fav camera. My fav dSLR.

I had the Samsung GX10 (same as Pentax K10D), then the Pentax K20D with grip. It never failed to take a pic. Its going on 60,000 shutter counts. And I don't worry it may break. I tracked the forums very close and without doubt the K20D was Pentax most reliable dSLR starting from the K10D days. The K200D is a close second.

When I bought the K-5, I would only do it when I had the funds without selling the K20D. The K20D is a life time keeper. Like my first digital the Kodak DC5000 that is still weather sealed and takes 2mp pics some 15 years latter, I will keep my K20D as long as it works. And its done its tour of duty. Its earned a permanent home in my house.

It did BIF, it did everything, I had no AF, or performance problems. It was a jack of all trades, a superb photographic tool.

My beat up K20D - took a face plant and the camera housing above the lens mount passing through to the on board flash housing was cracked. Covered it in electrical tape and it was all good to go.

A few months after that I was doing a shoot at a bush bash mud rally and was covered in mud spray while using the DA 50 - 200 ED - no waterproofing.

Had the hood on and so a quick dip of the lens avoided the worst of it but the lens, the camera and I got well splattered. Was able to carry on and got a front page photo in the local paper so very capable camera setup.

I still use my K20D side by side with my "Pandatrooper" K-01. Later I tend to use mostly for low light and for nature/macro on a tripod. No real problems with my K20D, and I'm above 50 000 actuations. Two small annoying things: the on/off switch became stiffer than it should be, and on the corners of the bottom plate I see the dreaded cracks well known from the K10D

Fantastic camera! The K20D was my main body for six years, until it was displaced by the K-3. In the intervening years, I owned a K-x (lousy controls), K-5 (wonky AF) and K-01 (no VF). I still have the K20D, and would choose it again over any of the other three.

One of the things that I personally most love about the K20D is the colors that it gets, It allows me to spend less time in PP.
