I've owned the K20D since 2008. It now resides in my car with the DA 18-250mm mounted, DA 40mm Limited and Gary Fong Puffer, so I can basically shoot anything.

i brought the K20D with DA 18-135mm to Nova Scotia this fall, along with my K-3. My wife shot three hundred whale images and only missed focus on two or three.

Here are a few of my shots with the K20D and 18-135mm.
I also have a K20D and a K-3. Yes the K-3 makes improvements on almost every front, but for most of my shooting the K20D is a perfectly adequate camera.

BIF With DA200mm - quite a bit of cropping - PentaxForums.com
This shows the AFC of K20D is just foolproof indeed. I was really far away indeed and given only 3 seconds to respond

The tracking power of the vintage K20D is nothing to laugh at (as shown)

K20D with DA50-200ED - I also use the K3 with a K20D as back up. Yesterday I was using the 50-200 on the K20 and the 16-45 on the K3 for a photojournalism job.
