Maybe, but a lot of professional photographers don't have quite the budget to afford all the Zeiss lenses, either, or the time to switch from prime to prime.

Personally I'd prefer the Nikon 135 DC to the Zeiss, and it's a relatively affordable ~$900 on the used market.

I'd still go for Pentax, but I'm aware Pentax cameras might not fit everyone's needs. Canikon's top class cameras are still preferable for sports, as Sony is for video.

I would definitely go with Pentax again. Not only do the bodies have a nicer feel but it is always more fun to work with a less popular but excellent brand. Remember the Commodore Amiga? OOPS we probably do not want to go that way. But it was an excellent machine which gave good service to its dedicated owners. By the way, I am not a Pentax is doomed believer. Our brand seems to me to be in good shape.
