How to cure LBA

I've started the photo journey for 4 months now and below is what I bought so far :
* Tamron 18-200 : the first lens ever
* Tamron 17-50 f2.8: an upgrade of the kit lens
* Sigma 17-50 f2.8: follow the DXO rating of the best lens for K5 IIs (zoom category)
* Sigma 35mm Art f1.4 : follow the DXO rating of the best lens for K5 IIs (fix focal category)
* Tamron 28-75 f2.8 : follow the rating in this forum
* Helios 44M 58mm f2 : for the magical bokeh
* DA 15mm f4 : for travel
* Pentacon 135mm f2.8 : because of the low price at an outdoor market
* SMC Takumar 50mm f1.4 : one of the best 50mm ever made
* FA 31mm : the Pentax legend
* FA 77mm : the great great Pentax legend

And with the lens tournament, I see a lot of interesting lens, all are "must have" !!! What can I do to cure the LBA ??? I'm gonna go bankrupt at this rate =___=

I'm a gear hound by nature (computer builder/gamer/OCer), so knowing that going in, I was extra careful. You already have some really nice lenses to work with, so you're clearly spending your money on quality stuff. I was smart enough to realize that I wouldn't see any benefit from spending good money on lenses early on in the LBA (because I was a beginner) so I just bought cheap stuff that I was pretty much able to sell off for similar prices, after I realized the quality/focal length wasn't up my alley. Being inundated with information/compliments over the past few weeks on so many nice lenses, can really set an undisciplined person's wallet up for hardship -- lol

Hang in there!

Trouble is, I do not think most of us want to cure our LBA! I only sell out of necessity or lust for a different lens that I cannot afford without selling something. I recently almost bought back a DA 21 that I sold about a year ago. I suspect I am not alone in this lack of desire for a cure

Cue Leonard Cohen: There is no cure, there is no cure...

Actually, the best thing you can do is to get away from the forums, go out and shoot with what you already have!

thanks guys, with the lens I have, I have a policy to bring one lens at a time so that all day long I will shoot with that only lens, the next day the other lens. That way I will find which one to keep and which one I have to let go (to get another lens on the "waiting list" =_=)

I'm still fighting LBA and CBA. It takes time and patience,and a lot of failing at being patient. But I'm reasonably happy with my small collection:
35mm Ltd
40mm Ltd
16-50 DA*
50-135 DA*

I want something wider than my 16-50 and longer than it, but I'm not sure what would make me happy. Nothing seems to do well enough in low light, which is when I have most of my time to shoot.

Buying best lenses like fa 77, at a stage you will find all other lenses are well behind your lenses at hand...

Then LBA will automatically stop.

I just see the result of the "Greatest Pentax Lens of All Time" the FA 77 rules them all, I already put some money aside and plan on buying that hero

I bought the following over a few yrs and am very happy with my glass situation right now completely finished NO but pretty happy.
1. Tamron 17-50 2.8 actually better IQ than the Pentax 16-50 in the reviews and slightly sharper in the center but slightly softer in the corners than the Sigma 17-50 the Sigma being slightly better but much more expensive although better built but I can break the Tammy replace it and still come out a couple of $ ahead.
2. Tamron 90mm 2.8 macro I went to the Flickr groups and looked at the various pics all had similar IQ I really wanted the Pentax 100 WR but at twice the price! used! I really wanted the WR the pentax has.
3. Pentax 60-250 DA* F4 for me the best of all the lenses in this range pricey yes but way less costly than the CanNikon 70-200s. IQ is amazing and although I give up a stop I get a lot more range to me well worth the trade, and the bokeh is great also.

4. Pentax 50mm 1.8 only for low light
5. Still need a 15 mm F4

Now I have ABE (Advanced Body Envy) the K3 deals are killing me but I firmly believe (hope) a K3 upgrade is coming soon
