There are also tons of lenses (usually with film cameras attached) out on Craigslist and on Goodwill (both on line and in the stores). There are also thrift shops. The M42 screw mount lenses everyone produced, even though it tends to get cast as the old Pentax mount. They are really everywhere - you just need to go out and look.

If you include legacy M42 lens that can be used with an inexpensive adapter, the number of lenses increases by hundreds and hundreds. Much more than Canon or Nikon! Some of the Pentax made M42 are excellent lenses that meet or exceed any current lenses.

The 50mm, 85mm, 50mm macro, 100mm macro Taks are among the especially noteworthy. They are also inexpensive.

Any M42 ever made can work!
