I'm 44 and have been shooting with Pentax equipment for 29 years! Cut my photographic teeth with a K1000 in 1985!

As a semi-statistician I can't bare the horror of the faulty intervals, you can't overlap the same age in different alternatives! As I'm 25 I can choose two different alternatives, hence skewing the result.

The only way to solve this is to change it to:
15 - 24 years
25 - 34 years
35 - 44 years
45 - 54 years
55 - or older

right, plus
5-14
55-64
65-74
75-84
85-94
95 and older

55 and older is too many ages grouped together and skews the results

True, right now you can actually say that the large majority are 45 and below, even though it looks like most are older than 55 at first glance. There are sadly too many errors made in the poll for it to really be useful.

Eh, what? What are you talking about? There's no extra letter in the word, now.

any lower than 15yr?

I started at 12 on film. My kids started at 9-10. A DSLR kit becomes so cheap now that they can have their own, each with K20D with WR lens.

If they are pretty?

I'm 29. I do know a few younger Pentaxians.

It looks quite even, except for sub 25.

... Wish I had a parent like you. Mine wouldn't have bought me one, since its wasted on me if I got one back then. But I agree, they're becoming more or less a normal tool than a professional's tool.

My parents bought me a simple film point-and-shoot when I was ten. I shot two films and quickly returned to my LEGO. They tried again on Christmas when I was 18 with a digital camera and I got hooked.

When I'll have kids one day I'll push cameras in their faces until they get it too

Haha, I had to afford my own. I hope it'll be 18 to 35 with a 18-35mm 1.8 than 18 to 55 with a 18-55mm kit lens, if you get what I mean!

Also, it is interesting to know when people started too. I started with a K-30 when I was 16.

I am 30 and I have been using Pentax cameras since 2009. Gosh, I sound like AA group member... or in this case, Pentaxians Anonymous, only difference is, I don't plan to stop. I had lots of fun these five years with my K-x and I expect my new ( not even two weeks old) K-3 will bring me even more joy.
