LOL....did the same thing but only online....I was thinking about upgrading my K-5 but happened upon a fleabay deal on a HD DA21 limited in silver that I just couldn't resist....
I'll keep my K-5 most likely now and just wait 'til things settle down untill after the holidays next year.
What usually happens is that the black friday prices seem to be the new adjusted normal prices in the new year.
Who you telling but I'm glad I waited, B&H has the K-5iis with the battery grip and memory card for $526.00,although I will be picking up a Lexar600x speed also. This is a way better deal than just the body for $546.00

good choice! You will not regret the decision at that price.

$800 is an amazing price for such a bundle. Stick with it. My K-r cost more than that, with the two DA L lens kit! And it is not on the same level as a modern K-3! Heck, the K-01 was 799euro when it came out, and the Q was expensive, as well! Could you find some better deal and save a couple dollars? Sure, somewhere, someday, somehow. But you never know what drawbacks that will have! And its better to have a camera now, than to wait for a deal forever. I doubt you will regret it

I placed an order for a DA 15 two days ago. Last night I saw the price drop $80. I called customer service and the said they would issue a refund for the $80. I also checked on the DA 21 price and saw that price dropped $100 so I decided to buy it. Between the time I was speaking with CS and the time I logged into Adorama again I saw the DA 15 price drop another $20.

I'm figuring by the end of tomorrow they will be paying me to just take new lenses.

You can't go wrong with Adorama or B&H. I've done business with both and never had anything but top notch service.
As far as the lenses you bought; good choice. You will find that neither is a good substitute for the other. Both have their place.

Canadian eBay seller but all 45 are already sold out. They went fast once the deal was posted here.

I am one of those and I couldn't be happier I did it. I am equally pleased that late comers are getting such good deals. Electronic equipment is bought to be used. I would happily have paid less but then I would have been without the camera for the past 12 months. It taught me a lot in that time.

Not really sure where this should go, but I figured it couldn't be wrong here.

So here's the deal. I placed an order for a K3 on adorama's earlypeek deal at a price of 796.95 with free grip on forum speculation that last Friday's price was likely the lowest price that it would go in experience from previous year's sales. Now I am seeing these other deals pop up on the k5iis and a few other bundles on the k3, so I can't help but wonder if something better is coming Friday.
What should I do here? Not open the camera when it comes in to wait and see if there's a much better price, and if so get it and send this one back? See if adorama will possibly credit the difference instead? What's they proper call?

I know, I know. Ignore the price, enjoy the camera. But since it isn't in yet, it's hard to do that, so I have just been browsing the forums.

Thanks!

Don't feel bad I paid $699 for k-5 IIs without a grip or card 6 months ago, boo, hoo, hoo, dniff.
