shutter count

I just ordered the K-3 and am looking to sell some of my other bodies..
How do you determine the shutter count on the ist-DL, K-10D, K-20D ??

REALLY looking forward to working with the K-3...

Easy way to check shutter count

Check Shutter Count & Camera Manufacture Date Online - EXIF Reader

Just make sure you upload an image without any post processing, and you will get the shutter count.

Another alternative is to look at the metadata (Manufacturer info - ShutterCount) with a tool that can read EXIF, especially handy when you can't access the internet.
EXIFTool and EXIFToolGUI (if you don't like command line) are a good choice.

Best just to use the link above which is from PF. It is quick and accurate.

I'm not aware of any issues with the shuttercount metadata...
Besides, sometimes you (or at least, I) don't have the luxury of a reliable internet connection, especially one with a large upload bandwidth...
I agree 100% that the link given works A-ok and is very useful.
