Make room - I'm now an official Pentax owner

My patients has paid off today and I am expecting the delivery of my very first Pentax DSLR! I took advantage of the deal at the Ricoh store and picked up a white and black K50 with WiFi card for $299.00. I also made a deal with a local forum member to purchase his 18-135WR lens for a very fair price.

All said and done, I'm into both for less than $600.00, which I think is an increadable good value for some pretty good equipment.

So I will hanging around here a lot in the coming months as I learn my way around my new gear. Thanks to everyone for your help in getting me this far, I have learned a lot already.

Congratulation on scoring a great deal on your new k-50. I think you will enjoy it very much (especially the large Pentaprism viewfinder compare to other brands at the similar level). When you have a moment...don't forget to add the serial number to the database.

Thanks aleon3, I will add it when it arrives.

I was originally drawn to the WEather sealing and size of the Pentax gear, but after doing tons of research, it became clear that it's much more.
