- Pentax Switzerland apologies for the delays in delivering the K10D to the shops. Such a high demand was not expected. Situation should get back to normal in February.
- Pentax expects the demand for DSLR will stabilize in one or two years.
- The Pentax brand is well known in cameras. They do not want to make the mistake in changing the camera brand label due to the Hoya-Pentax merger. The cameras will still be released under Pentax brand. No further consequences on the merger is known yet
- The release of the 645D is postponed in order to priorities on DSLRs
- At PMA, Pentax will not only present the new motorized lenses but also new DSLRs (details unknown), and three digicams (E30, M30 and T30)
