hi i have a k20d , bought used. firmware on camera is ver. 1..want to update to 1.04. the site says i need a 32gb sd card? could i get bye with a 16gb card? first time doing this i hope it's as easy as it looks.

You can use any size card that the camera can read.It has to have a minimum of 32MegaBytes not GigaBytes (any new card will exceed that minimum).

You need 32 Megabytes, not Gigabytes. Common mistake.

It's quite simple, just follow the instructions, may help to print them out if it's your first time.

First and foremost, make sure you have fully charged battery. Download the firmware update Windows/Macintosh .bin file, then transfer to your SD card. (I always keep a formatted GB+ card just for firmware updates for my cameras.) Place SD card in camera, turn it on while holding Menu button, select Yes to update, wait for Complete, and then turn it off. I turn it back on, again holding Menu button, to check update took and then reformat the SD card. Wish you well...love the K20D!
