Sandisk rebates for US buyers

http://66.223.110.241/rebates/SandiskQ2VisaRebateExp062908.pdf

Sandisk is offering some nice rebates on their Extreme cards if you purchase from one of the dozens of retailers they list (including many of our favorites). The rebates increase the more cards you buy (i.e. $40 for one 8GB card, but $90 for 2 or $140 for 3). Good through June, so stock up.

BTW, I don't actually own any Sandisk cards as I think there are cheaper alternatives. However, with these rebates, I'll give them a look.

I buy the cheapest SD cards I can find and they all work great for me. It's been a while since I bought any but my last purchase was two 2MB SD cards for $10 (after rebate). They work great. They are by A Data? and say speedy at the top.......whatever.....they work. You can get Transcend 8MB SD cards (class 6) for $30......no rebate needed.

I remember paying the princely sum of ~$70 for a 64 MB card back in 2002.

Oh right.. just a reminder - that's GB you're talking about, not MB.

LOL.......I remember walking into a Best Buy and paying $150 for 4MB (yes that's megabytes) of RAM for my 486DX2 computer

Okay, this looks like the best deal. I just bought 3 of the 4GB cards at Beach Camera for $126 shipped. The rebate is $110. So for $16 net total, I get 3 Sandisk Extreme III cards 4GB each. Not bad!

~$5 for a Sandisk 4GB card can't be beat.

Thanks for the tip. Just duplicated your order. Should note that the rebate comes in the form of a prepaid VISA card, not a check, so no way to deposit the cash back in your checking account.

Same here. Thanks! Also replicated your order. I've had good luck with SanDisk cards, and have found the Extreme III cards faster than the Ultra II cards. Bummer about the Visa card rebate. Let's hope there are not all kinds of junk fees when we use them. I'll save it for a single purchase. Hmmm...Maybe a DA* prime???

Ah, so Beach seems to be out of the 4gb cards. I went over to Adorama to pick them up and will take the gift check option for additional 10%. Not quite as low as the Beach Camera price though but the extra 10% and free shipping did help.

Hmm.... I sent mine in 4 weeks ago and just got mine the other day. I was about to call them because it was never even put into the rebate status system and I was getting worried.
