14. MPix High ISO shoot out.

From the glorious DPR, here is a shootout.

Sony Alpha DSLR-A350 Review: 29. Compared to...(High ISO):

The ISO 3200 samples made me laugh out loud. The S**y is just plain funny!

I think the comparison methodology is based on the the 14MP sensor.

It's good to see some parts of the future K20D review in these comparisons...

The K20D retains the most detail at high ISO. Sony's BIOcrap processor and whatnot apply heavy doses of noise reduction.

detail says "Adios!"

The "much faster low-light AF speed" of the Sony can be used to create crappy high-ISO images with no AF hunting, though! Keep that in mind! No hunting! You won't miss that shot of your kid now, even if the noise reduction will end up making him look like Elmer Fudd!

I note that not all the K20D data is finished, meaning the K20D review should be up soon but they are not letting some obvious secrets out.

Thanks that made me giggle - especially since my friends kid does look remarkably like him....

The amount of details and good colours retained are amazing for the K20D. However, these comes together with the cost of very visible noises.

Our store is sending back all the 350's we received due to IQ issues as no one can honestly sell this camera without saying the pictures suck. The quality is too soft and we've yet to get a sharp image out of 4 different bodies... such a sad camera.

Ummm... are you silly cause the noise is more visible in the other shots... I'm seeing chroma while the others are showing watercolored noise patches the size of peas!

Are you impolite and unfriendly each time I posted something and made my opinions?

I think you should not acquire any Sony stock in the first place as the Pentaxes are far superior whereas others are problematic. Just run a specialised Pentax shop which sell *only* Pentax - my humble suggestion for you and your shop! This will surely relief the staff of your shop the troubles of doing the QC, disappointed and then forced to return all these "junk" products..
