A thing about TC Converters

Wanted to gauge opinion about TC 1.7X .According to someone ,when you have MF you have to input focal length(that much I get)which one
ie
200mm lens X fl ratio 1.5X the TC 1.7=510mm or 340mm that being lens X tc factor

You have my total attention.

cheers

My understanding is you use the actual focal length. With a 200mm lens you use 200mm. With a 200mm plus a 1.7 converter you would enter 304mm, Forget the crop factor when entering any lens or lens and TC combo.
