Pentax Flu Card with Alternate Apps

Has anyone tried using additional and alternative apps made for non Pentax Flu Cards? Since the Pentax Flu Card won't automatically download images to a tablet, etc, I was hoping I could use Treks FA Pro Android app to have images automatically go into my Galaxy Tab. Even better would be if it automatically displayed each last shot. Still wanting to control the camera with the Pentax Flu Card url, but hoping I could run the additional app at the same time. So when the app sees a new image in the card it automatically displays on the tablet.

I can't get it to do anything with Shuttersnitch. Really annoying. So the flucard now lives inside my battery grip as a backup, and my Eyefi card is in the second camera slot.
