DxO Optics Pro - Focusing Distance not in Exif

I'm trying to process with DXO Optics Pro a pef file from a k10d DA 18-55 and i get the message:
"Focusing distance not in exif"

Does anyone knows if this is recorded in exif;

thanks

As far as I know, Pentax cameras don't record focus distance. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I know Nikons do.

Does it process the shot aside from the message? would be wild if it doesn't, considering not even all of Canon's lenses report distance info.....

If i remember correctly my trial copy of DXO did not read the PEF EXIF data from my K100DS. Lightzone would read the focal length in the EXIF data as 10 times the actual focal length (ie 330.0mm vs 33mm). If I save as jpeg then the EXIF data would read 33mm. Go figure.

IIRC, the EXIF in my K10D's DNG files has an entry for focussing distance that is very qualitative, something like "close," "medium," and "distant." Probably none too helpful for DXO's algorithms!

You can adjust focusing distance manually.
Dxo processes all files automatically if a module the body and lens exists but if you want to have more control you can adjust everything manual.
It would just be more accurate if pentax lenses reported focusing distance, so that you don't have to guess the distance every time.
