We should contribute to this

I was reading an article today, about shutter life.
I followed the links and (as usual) the Pentax data was not well represented.

This is the article - http://www.howtogeek.com/218244/how-to-check-a-dslrs-shutter-count-and-why-you-should-care/

Here is the database link.

Camera Shutter Life Database

It looks like we should add some data to this place.

The database Web site is sort of a puzzle. All data are self-reported with the results having veracity equivalent to a Cosmo(politan) magazine poll The page you linked to is incomplete. A better list is available at the actual home page for the project:

Note that Pentax is still badly underrepresented.

Still, though, the numbers are interesting. The reader should take care to understand what is actually being presented. Reports are for "living" and "dead" cameras and the implications are different for each class. The two taken together may be used to generate predictive statistics (estimated probability of survival) to be applied to the class. Results have highest validity, of course, when the camera data are randomly acquired or are the result of following a set cadre of bodies and when the number of cameras is high.

FWIW...I looked at the Canon data and the results for both the 70D and 7D reflect the experience of those within my circle who own(ed) those bodies.

Yep. I was amazed at the low sample size for Pentax.
