K-X vs. K100D Super -- which to sell off?

I've got a K-X and K100D Super, neither of which get much use, and I can't decide which one to sell off. I want to keep one of them, because I've got a KatzEye focusing screen that will fit either one (for manual lenses). Both have a shutter count of about 5000 and are in excellent condition. As I see it: K-X offers higher resolution and higher usable ISO, better autofocus, a controls/operation more similar to my K-30. K100DS offers an arguably better build quality, and the different CCD sensor (the merits of which have been argued pro and con here and elsewhere). The K-X probably would bring me about $50 more in resale value (checking Keh, B&H and Ebay sales). I have not, so far, been interested in infrared photography, so the K100DS potential in that regard isn't really relevant to me. Am I missing something that should make the choice of which to sell off obvious? Thanks very much.

If something unfortunate were to happen to your K-30, which camera would you prefer to use?

Thanks, that's a good point. I should have mentioned that I also recently acquired a K-3, so that could be a K-30 substitute, of course. But were the K-30 to fail, I suppose the K-X would be my preferred short-term substitute for it for size/weight/similarity reasons.

You are not going to get much for either, for whichever one sells, and for more, would be my vote.

Is the extra $100 - $120 that you would get by selling both that important to you?

I have had an unused K20 sitting in my cabinet ever since I bought my K5. Its potential use as a backup to both my K5 and K3 exceeds the potential resale value. I can never buy another used camera of that class that I would feel as comfortable about its history as a camera that I owned!

Not really very important; in fact I've thought of simply giving one, with kit lens, to a family member or friend.... It's as much the clutter reduction, and the idea of something sitting idle that someone else could use, behind the idea of getting rid of one.

You'll definitely be able to sell the K-x for more, so I would like that one on the marketplace and give away the K100D.

Actually I have a k-x, k200d, and a K3. I use my K200d a lot more than the k-x. I like the CCD colors and the focus points.

If you have both K3 and K30, why not sell both? Or is there a reason other than backup that you wish to keep one of the two around? I have K100dSuper but only the k5 after that. Upon the next upgrade I'll likely sell the K5 and keep the k100d Super. Something about simplicity, 6 mp, and CCD colors at low iso that make it endearing to me. Yes, I am one of those that really believes the CCD at low iso is really a little more special. I often pull up some shots of the k100d Super and I can hardly believe how vivid and good the IQ is for only 6 MP. So I guess I'm saying between the kx and k100d Super - keep the Super.
