I wish I had a K3.

Anybody have an extra they would give to me?

If I got a K-3II I'd need to put my K-3 down?*

* Every weekend I swear I'm going to get out the K-01 . . . . . and I don't.

A shot taken in pitch black except for my, shielded, head lamp. ISO 800 with my 50mm 1.8. What do I know but I found this shot impressive (I was just goofing around) especially since it was a pitch black 'negative' that I bumped the exposure on quite a bit (don't remember how high). 25% NR in post and no banding before or after.

One thing the K-3 ii can't do is change the weather ... 20C daytime and clear skies would be nice

Maybe the FF will be able to?

We had one day that cool lately and it was wonderful. Its when its in the mid to high 30s and cloudless that I do not like.

Just tell yourself the K3ii replacement is going to be just spectacular and you will not be able to live without it. Myself I am still waiting for the replacement for the Seneca Improved to come out. Its over one hundred year old design so surely there must be some new improvements to make the Improved Improved.

I like my K5iis enough that the K3/K3ii have not temped me (yet). Just hold on and hold out for the even better replacement model or the FF.

Yes this is the rational thought

I'm going to try to hold out... the K-3ii + 16-85 is currently a compelling deal... must hold out

Going out and taking pictures instead of looking at the camera you don't have on the internet - might do the trick

You have the wrong mentality... we cannot survive on this planet without FF for instance... its all about the gear and LBA

I already have a K-3, and sometimes use the internal flash.

I can buy an astrotracer for the unlikely event that I'll need it.

I might, actually.

Ditto. No knock on the K3II - just the K3 fits my needs better.
