Just picked up a great condition used Pentax ist DL...

Unfortuantely, The software CD in the box with Photo Browser 2.1 & Photo Laboratory 2.1 was corrupted and won't load.

Anything useful or REQUIRED on that CD? I don't see myself transfering photos via a cable. Would rather just pull the SD card and put that into a card reader, so...

Am I missing anything?

Even if you wanted to transfer via cable you don't actually need the CD. PCs wiil just recognize your camera as onther external USB HDD. If you have card reader, better for you (though on my PC shots DO transfer FASTER when I plug camera via cable rather than use my card reader, but I'm saving battery). Anyway, if you have any other RAW editing program (Photoshop, Picassa, Lightroom, Elements etc) you don't need the CD. If of course you don't want to be "patriot" and use Pentax's own software....
