behold the wonders of FILM!

want less noise, and higher contrast?! you can have that, along with having perfect high ISO images!

how, you ask? simple! it's called..

swapping film!

do you want rich colors, one day, and then perfectly saturated skin tones, the next?! don't invest in multiple digital bodies, and costly post processing software, simply... swap film!

Pfff, go back to your roots, use charred bones to draw pictures on animal hides. Takes a bit longer and the color range is a bit limited but if Ansel Adams had access to that kind of technology he'd have used it.

somehow, I think we have lost the concept of the thread, maybe it is because we make images because we can't remember what we see.

Seems we can't remember other things, like the point of the thread either.

we must all be suffering from CRS, or it's more advanced form CRAFT, and please don't ask for an explanation of either

After viewing some of these photos, I'd love nothing better than to drop my digital and go back to what they were using. Be sure to click through to view the full-size images. They'll take your breath away.

If I could REMEMBER what I see, I wouldn't need photographs. I can't remember SH!T. Damn old-timers.

you can say shit on this site and not have to worry about a filter.

infact you can use any swear word and not have to worry about the filter, except for f***, or a derivative of it.

If Kodak brought K25 back 120, I'd buy a case in a heartbeat! RB67 & Kodachrome 25, I drool just thinking about it.

And I want more Agfapan 25, I'm almost out........

Since when film has lower noise than digital? Why would I pay for rolls and rolls of film when I can change all the contrast and colors I want in post-processing? Why would I pay R$22+R$201 (about U$126) to have high-resolution drum scans of all 36 shots in a roll, when I can get the same resolution pictures FOR FREE? are you people nuts?
