I thought that if anything they'd go up in value, so I sure some serious bids start coming in proving me right.

If I remember correctly Rice High said the price would drop like all other electronics. If it wasn't a special edition I would have had to agree with him.

Speaking of straps (kind of), I wish Pentax had made the K20D strap an inch wider. When you add the grip and a moderate sized lens, the camera gets heavy toting it around all day.

I know, whine whine whine.

Here's the one I want. Its a special one-off that they did to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the original Pentax in 1957.

Pentax 50th Anniversary Asahi Pentax DSLR: Digital Photography Review

Its a standard K10D, with no built-in flash. The top deck has been replaced with a silver piece that takes its styling from the 1957 version. It looks a lot like a Spotmatic, as well.
I want that lens....
SMC TAKUMAR-DA 40mm 2.8 Limited

I love my other SMC Taks

The camera looks pretty good too.

Fortunately that's probably the easiest aspect of the camera to fix.

I have one of the SmugMug straps that SmugMug gives for free to their customers and LOVE it.
