"Pentax Dust and Weather Sealing in Afghanistan" - 400 GRAND!!!

Didn't know where to put this, but I figured since it dealt with multiple Pentax DSLR's in general, I figured this would work.

So I know I have been exceptionally absent lately (work is on a whole different level these days - I'll do a write up of what I can share with regard to what I've been up to for those curious around Thanksgiving - right now just super busy and don't have the time), however I happened upon a specific YouTube video and was shocked to see that it had climbed over the 400,000 hump

Just wanted to celebrate the accidental virality of what was literally supposed to be just for fun among us at PF lol

Thanks for all the support, guys

P.S. it appears that 48 Canikons didn't survive similar conditions

If Pentax marketing were even halfway competent, they would have jumped on this free advertising in a heartbeat.

Hey, this is Thanksgiving weekend up in Canada! Ask for a transfer to the CAF...

Congrats on the 400k!

I'm pretty sure, in their quiet way, they have. That video is legendary at this point.

As the grateful owner of Heie's 16-50 lens due to his generous contest a few years ago (I call the lens DA Heieneken), I love seeing this video again. Hope all is well Heie! Your lens is still a trooper - I work for a non-profit environment organization that has outdoor programs including stream restoration and marine waste management, so I've used the lens many many times in bad weather.

Long story short, he shoots Nikon now. When Ricoh ditched Jim Malcolm he felt dissed by Ricoh.
