Hi everyone

I have 2 lenses for my istD

smc Pentax da 18-55mm and
Tamron af aspherical Xr di 28-300

Will these work with a k5 or k50 body

Any lens that will work on an *istD will work on a K-5 (from personal experience with the *ist-DL) and on everything after it too. The reverse is NOT true - if you end up buying the DA 18-135 or any other DC, non-screwdrive lens, the *ist-D will not work the autofocus, so consider that if you're holding on to the *ist-D as a backup body and you want complete interchangeability of lenses.
