New K3ii & 24-70 ED SDM WR - loving it

So I was able to go on a little shopping spree and I am VERY HAPPY so far. I have been shooting K5 for 5 years and was ready to upgrade. I did not feel the need to wait for the FF because I am not sure I really need it.

This post is about the K3ii and the Pentax 24-70 2.8 ED SDW WR that just came out.

I have more to learn for sure with the k3ii - I was really used to K5 and where everything was. I did not get the grip for the K5 but I did for the K3ii and very happy I did. It just makes it so much easier to hold. With the 24-70 it feels great.

I have not got out for any serious shooting but I did want to share a couple of shots from today.

24MM - F4 - 1/250 - ISO 200

35mm - F9 - 1/50 ISO200

48mm - F7.1 - 1/500 ISO 200

Again loving the body and the lens and thought I would share.

Congratulations on the new kit. Images look good too.

Pic of the body and lens together would look good.

Looks a very serious 'pro' combo.
That front element is huge.

Nice shots and congrats on the new gear. Looking forward to more photos from this combo.

Is it just me or is the horizon tilted on your second photo?

@vievetrick

Thank you for sharing.
How about the AF speed? Feels fast, slow, ok?
Also, the lens doesn't seen so big. And comparing you pic with the "leaked" FF pic, the FF doesn't seen much bigger than the K3 as well.
