Ricoh/Pentax has been getting some good press lately. Even DP Review gave the K-S2 a favorable mention recently!

The comment: "How can you put the Canon 7D2 at the bottom of the list? It's easily the best of the lot! I also notice that all the Canon cameras are rather low down the list. Very fishy......"

Haha! Yeah, I saw that too. This means that the big boys will have to start reckoning with Ricoh!

A very odd list. Understanding that this is APS-C cameras only, it is weird to put he 7D MK II at the bottom with cameras like the D3300 and D5500 above it -- particularly considering that both of those cameras are just slight refreshes of the D5300 and D3200 respectively. I'm not up to date on everything Nikon, but not sure why you would get these cameras versus the slightly cheaper versions from last year. Certainly if I were making the list I would have put the 7D MK II, D7200 and K3 II at the top in some order -- probably D7200 number one based on its sensor followed by the K3 II and the 7D third, but as it is I wouldn't put much stock in this list.

But isn't the D7200 sensor the same as the Pentax minus pixel shift and stabilization?

The list certainly seems preferential towards Sony sensors.

Not sure what tweaks Nikon did but it has better dynamic range throughout than the K3 sensor does.

I think the list is ordered and ranked by the overall user experience. Which camera is more pleasurable to use? Sensor performance is only one aspect that drives the resulting image.
