Black Lines

Hi

When I put my photos into a folder and have a look at them in the finder (Mac OS) they look as if they have a black frame at the top and bottom if landscape and at the sides if Portrait. I then have a look in bridge and at first it is the same but then the picture changes to what it should look like. Any ideas why this happens?

Thanks, Paul

It means that finder is unable to display custom thumbnail aspect ratios, so it fills up the remaining empty space with black. There is nothing inherently wrong with either your pictures or with your OS X.

I see this in corel PSP X2 when using the photo browser, ONLY on RAW images.

It I believe is related to RAW images only
