DSLR straps

Do you use a strap on your camera?
If so which strap and why.

I have the included neck strap on my K-50 but never really put it round my neck.

I use a third party neck strap, so I guess I don't get to vote. ;-)

I can't edit the poll afterwards, but sling strap meant third party sling strap/neck strap

If I'm using two cameras I use my Black Rapid double. If I'm using just one, I use a car seatbelt dslr strap made by Couch Guitar Straps.

Pentax neck strap on most DSLRs (because it is thin and light), just a wrist cord on the K-01 and K-S1.

I use the BlackRapid Curve RS-7 sling. Best strap I've come across for a single DSLR so far. I would never go back to a neck strap, whether Pentax or third party... though many (including some pro's, apparently) swear by the stretchy neoprene neck straps... I would like a good wrist strap for my DSLRs, though - for when I'm happy to keep the camera in my hand, but don't want a big strap dangling and don't want to risk dropping the camera...

I used to do that too, but I came *very* close to dropping my camera once... never again!!

Yes -- just another "sort-of-a-poll" that assumes that everyone fits into certain limited finite slots.
Point acknowledged, but in fairness to bertwert, I think this was just an oversight - we can probably read "included neck strap" to mean "any neck strap"

I have more cameras than I have neck straps to fit them, so with the ones which didn't come to me with any fitted, I have a cross-body strap which screws into the tripod mount. Especially with the ME, MX and P series, it offers a convenient way to let the camera hang by my side until needed and then conveniently swung up to my eye for a shot.

Ha ha Actually, I only have the one BlackRapid strap that I screw into whichever camera I'm using (like yours, into the tripod socket). I've been toying with carrying two cameras at once with a dual camera sling, but I suspect I look ridiculous enough coping with just the one camera

Sling straps for me. I have been using the Peak Design Leash for a couple years as it works great for me for the K-30 and my typical walk around lenses (18-135 & 55-300). I did pick up a Slide Lite which I haven't used much yet but I think it will work well as I look to "upgrade" to a K-3 II and perhaps some bigger lenses.

Been using the included strap from K-3. I feel comfortable with the strap despite it being heavy with the grip and 50-135, and I like the security it has, dangling down your neck and right in front of you when you need it.

Most of the time I don't have any strap on the camera(s). It's either in my hand, in the small ONA bag, or in a peak design clip. When shooting an event (wedding) they are on my spyder belt system.
