Lowell Goudge: ps. somewhere there is a post about people with too much time on their hands, this one, along with the issue of changing the shutter release to black from silver belong there
That may be so, but what does it say about you for responding to such posts--LOL. I think it goes like this:

Jewelltrail * too much time on their hands

Lowell Goudge************** way too much time on their hands

Ernest

Wait until they have the "Oh My God!" setting.
They have that setting, it's the button right beside the one you press to take a good photo
Doesn't the manual show it

I heard it through the grape vine that the next firmware update will activate the "Perfect Framing every time" feature

"Do you speak Pentaxian?"

While we're at the discussion about menus:
It is kind of funny how they have shortened the menu options, but I find it effective, at least it's better than waiting for the camera to scroll through the title. Meanwhile, your 'target' is gone.

* Normal
** Better
*** Best
**** Über (Please advice: Exessive power required for operation. Please check your local store for the Pentax NBG-2 Nuclear powered battery grip)

Never, ever expect spelling and grammar accuracy in manuals, or anywhere else for that matter.

Many (English native-speaking) people can not even spell "lens", "aperture", "too", or correctly use an apostrophe in the words "it's" and "you're".
It's kind of funny I have to worry about grammar and spelling in both my mother tongue and English. Most Norwegians has some kind of error, like using "who camera" instead of "which camera". Drives me mad.

(And my English is not perfect either, I know, particularly not the syntax, and things such as which/what and have/has.)

I recommend try to download something from rapidshare.com. You will see Speedometer with three values
Min < Max < Rapid
Now I wonder, is speed of light considered Rapid speed, or just Max speed ?

It's quite simple... by re-naming "good" to anything less they would imply that a * rated jpg would not be "good," and the translation to the masses would be read as "not useable." Although, now that I think about it, would anyone who actually cares about the quality of an image shoot in * to begin with?
