Hi offertonhatter

What you REALLY need is one in a lovely shade of Stamford Bridge blue .....LOL ! Have you found any photo 'links' to it, so that the rest of us forum members can have a quick peek to see what it looks like ?

Best regards
Richard
Just thought, Stamford Bridge Blue, is the same as Edgeley Park Blue, So I could go with that.

on BTW here is the link

Second hand cameras, camera part exchange, digital cameras UK, used cameras, photographic shops, England

Looks better in the flesh though, it is darker than the image

Looks cheap? Nah. Just too cool.

the most beautifull DSLR I've seen.
I remember reading about it when they made it. It's just shame that it didn't make it at least to limited production. I think it looks so much better then the grand prix model that went into production bit later...

I have a silver and black Nikons (FE & FM2n). Looks fine but it has a tactile element to it where the silver bits are real metal. Any silver contraption these days is painted plastic and just not the same IMO.

Yes,it would look cool but I would be cleaning the body after every use, fingerprints would be more noticeable, I owned a car with white interior and it was a nightmare to keep it looking new and white, I think a white Pentax would also make it look like a toy.

Sorry, I was making a subtle joke (maybe TOO subtle) about Canon, specifically the L-series lenses.

I prefer the black editions of all SLRs. The silver ones look cheap and tinny to me.

Once you have black you never go back

Black is timeless and silver well its not my cup of tea

cheers

Me neither. Tried Google and didn't find anything that would indicate existence of any other version of K200D other than plain black.

OK. we're all missing a product opportunity here.... Pentax DSLR Skins! You know, like the skins you can get for your MP3 players and cell phones. Or something similar to Camera Armour only much thinner. They could even have customizable ones.

A ribbed body would allow for better grip. A ribbed lens for... err

MOVING ON

A silicone outer skin would make it look cheap. However something similar to Nokia's XpressOn shells could do wonders.
