K20D blooming?

I haven't posted here in quite awhile but I sold my K10D and picked up a K20D, but I've noticed that the K20D files seems to show some blooming or almost a haze in the files has anyone else noticed this?

I know, I'll post some later getting ready for some guests coming over, just seeing if anyone else noticed this.

No blooming here. Foggy lens or something?

I checked that, used 2 lenses. I'm uploading some PEFs for those who want to look, all these were taken with the 18-250, I know it's not the sharpest but I've seen much better from it then I'm getting now. It's almost like there is a slight fog or glow.

This is a 32meg DL

If I sharpen the heck out of them they'll look OK but that's WAY more sharpening then I've used on any other SLR.

Ok here a couple crops, the flower is about 75% and the pine needles are 100%. You can see they are in focus but there is almost an ethereal glow about them. These are shot at 1/800 sec at 55mm so there is no chance of blur. I also notice banding at 400 ISO, which seems out of the norm also. I know the DPreview review said one of the cameras suffered from this, may be I got a bum one.

Your camera exhibits some of the problems my K20D did. I have returned mine to pentax for repair after testing with multiple lenses and settings.

At least I'm not crazy, since I bought mine local, I'll exchange it for another, wonder what's happening here.

Yes. Mine too as far as I can tell.
So far my old DL at 6mp is sharper than the K20D at 14mp.

It's going back soon.
