K100d and weather

Hey all,
I have a k100d and I know its not weather sealed but are there any acceptable conditions I can take it out in? Currently I'm weary about taking it out in foggy or damp conditions. I'm I being safe or crazy?
Thanks,
Derm

yes its safe for foggy and damp conditions

it will shut down if you spill a bucket of water on it though.

I've had my K100d out in damp, fog and light rain and it has been fine. I even had it covered in wet snow on a winter camping trip and it kept on working. I wouldn't reccommend this though as one bit of snow getting in the camera would ruin it. I was just lucky.

I can vouch for the "light rain with precautions", I had mine out in the Quinault Rainforest last year, and it was drizzling all the time...I had it on the strap around my neck and just put the flap of my jacket over it in between shots. It got quite a few drops on it, and it was pretty damp in general, but it kept going like a trooper.
