Will Remote with Cord Trigger LiveView and Pixel-Shift?

I have the Pentax K3II and have the Velo corded remote that plugs in the camera. I can't see to get it to trigger the pixel-shift (time on) in LiveView. Any suggestions?

Are you saying that when the camera has pixel shift set to on, releasing the shutter with the remote results in a standard (non-pixel shift) capture? I've just tried pixel shifting in live view with my Pentax wired remote and it does take a pixel shift shot.

Is it this model you have?

I have the FotoTech remote. (looks almost identical, I suspect just rebranded??)
But it works in LiveView Pixel-Shift.

The Pentax style remote is just a very simplistic push button switch trigger.
Regardless of brand or design it should either work or not work. i.e. If it works with normal photos, it should work in live view and/or Pixel Shift.

It is very odd that you're seeing differences in behavior.
