Which camera to sell (K5-IIs or K3)?

I have a K5-IIs and a K3 but I am thinking of selling one of them to justify the purchase of a K1. Which camera should I sell?
I like the image quality of K5-IIs and features of K3! :-)

K5IIs due to the advancements of the K3. The K3 will become your awesome telephoto and macro camera leaving extra cropping room, the K1 your wide angle, landscape, and people camera.

I have a K-5lls and a K-3ll, if I had to sell one of them, it would be the K-3ll. I am so pleased with my K-5lls a stunning camera.

Keep both!

Then I can't get a K1 :-) I was thinking of selling both and get a K1, but I want a second body to test lenses and make me click happy!

Ok then, if you have to, sell the K-5iis. You can then use K-3 for wildlife and K-1 for everything else.

I agree! But K3 images are pretty close. K5-IIs is very slightly better at high ISO because of in-body noise reduction. Now that TAv mode is becoming my new favorite, low noise at high ISO noise is becoming very important. But I can get pretty close results with K3, I think.

K3 will fetch more money though :-)

It sounds like you're favoring the K5iis. Since it's still in production and you can get another one later on, sell the K3. K5iis is an awesome body and almost like gold nowadays and difficult to find at a decent price.

Keep the K-5ii. You have the K-1 for the big resolution and the K-5ii for the work that doesn't need a Wall big print.

Oh boy! I am in the same boat. I have the same exact combo. I have not shot with the K5IIs for a few years (Since I got my K3). On paper K3 has more res but I honestly could not tell them apart. What to do!!?

I'm amazed. Is the K-5iis that much better than the K-3?

I just picked up a K-3ii to replace me K-30, and I don't regret it one bit. Absolutely love the camera!
I haven't tried any of the K-5 series but now I'm curious...

I'll likely keep the K-3ii, just surprised by the responses here!

If you're not using the K-5iis then sell that.

Both excellent cameras, so I'd just be practical & sell whatever has the best resale value to help with the K-1.

I didn't think so.
Unless you're constantly shooting over 1600iso...
I figure the K-3ii will have a place in my home for years to come.
