How is FA* 28-70mm/f.8 vs HD PENTAX-D FA 24-70mmF2.8ED?

Has anyone compared those two lens?

I'm wondering whether I should buy an used FA* 28-70mm/f 2.8 from eBay or go get the newer model. (I notice the minimum focus length is different)

If price isn't an issue I'd go for the more modern lens. I'll have some side-by-side examples for you when the K-1 is out.

There is already the first impressions review with side by side images, but from the k-3.
