I have had very little time to play with the new camera. Last night was spent charging the battery, this morning a bit of customizing and a couple quick snaps, then a few more quick snaps this afternoon. It'll take a little time getting used to everything, but I think we will become close friends. I'll post something soon. My connection isn't uploading well tonight - but I did update my sig! Now I'm going to go make myself read some of the manual. lol

Where does one go these days to get a K-5iis in reasonably good shape? Did this one have a reasonably low shutter count?

To be honest, I don't work my camera nearly as hard as many do, so if I bought a K-5iis, most likely five years from now the pictures I took with it would be an insignificant proportion of all pictures taken with that camera.

I scoured PF, Amazon, EBay, Adorama, BH, KEH... Lol. I just read the descriptions and seller feedback and asked questions. My mind was set that I wanted shutter count below 5,000 and body in good shape. If shutter count and basic info on camera condition weren't listed, I didn't even consider it. Buying online is risky enough as it is. The day I had planned to place my order, there were two left that I had been watching. So, that made it easier to choose.
