too much silver for me. there isnt enough black across the midsection to balance it out. but Im glad pentax is still doing something other than black.

if they would extend the black all the way across the midsection and make the PENTAX letters on the pentaprism housing black it would be gorgeous.

Like it or not (I do, btw) this shows that at very last Pentax got a marketing departament. For an entry level a different look can bring more sells than all the technical specs many users don't even understand.

Well done, Pentax!

I like the silver DS and I was actually after one but couldn't get it. However I agree with séamuis on this one. Silver K200D has too much silver for me.

I know it would make the camera a lot heavier, but how 'bout if all that silver were real chrome. I for one would love them to produce the 50th Anniversary K10d with the angular pentaprism housing. That's style!

I like cheesy! That body would look great with a silver Limited on it.

I`m with Tom 100% on this. I was out with my photo club yesterday and all the Canon`s look like P&S cheapos compared to my K10D (and the Rebels feel like it as well). The only silver version that looked good was the `retro`K10D that was shown a while ago but never hit the street. Seen here: http://mackers-world.com/images/news/foto/dpreview_pentax50th.jpg

Well done, Pentax!

the silver canon dslrs are hideous, pentax ones are no different. Lets leave silver bodies where they belong, the 90s and earlier...
